Bush: narcissistic, paranoid, antisocial and delusional "The time has come to ask the question: Can it be that our president is not just wrong, not just stubborn, not just acting on sinister but purposeful motives, but mad as a hatter – in the clinical sense? Is the President of the United States of America, mentally ill?" He makes a good case for Bush having a narcissistic, paranoid and antisocial personality an being delusional. All terms are to be understood in their medical clinical sense. If even one of those diagnoses applies, America is in for a lot more trouble, Pizzo concludes. However, the more poignant question, at least for us in Europe, is how this utter fool got elected president in the first place and not once but twice. Twice! And I know he 'stole' the presidency, but still... they nevertheless let him get away with it. That he was elected the first time is excusable: alcoholics and other addicts are known to be very devious in dissimulating their condition, at least for a while. Most of the time they will lie brazenly to explain any unusual behavior. If found out they will simply tell another lie and if needs be, yet another. That, by the way, is exactly what Bush had done about every aspect of the war in Iraq.The same question was asked about another leader who thought he was chosen by Providence, who lied about (staged, really) provocations to wage an illegal war, who demonized people from another race as the ultimate source of all evil, who held his own people in an iron grip by abolishing civil liberties and who blamed everyone, except himself, when finally the nightmare of his creation collapsed around him. At least the other one could win a few battles before it took about the rest of the world combined to defeat him. This one is humiliated by insurgents (soon to be called freedom fighters?) of a bombed out, relatively small country. The final question is: will America follow its Supreme Leader as long as Germany did? Or can America still be debushified in time? When bombs start falling on Iran it will be to late.
